Do you know how you iPod or laptop look just like everybody else’s? I recently bought a plain Toshiba laptop, very powerful inside but very bland outside, coming from an art background a touch or personality was definitely missing from my new laptop. Certainly, the same was true with my Android cell phone, I have a Samsung Galaxy and it is a great cell phone, but is entirely just black. If you want a quick upgrade, you can choose for a cover or skin found in many malls, but the look of them is cheap and unattractive. There was no reason for me to change the factory look of my cell phone for a cheap look of a cover.
Just when I was starting to get comfortable with the plain look of my gadgets, a good friend of mine, Marco Antonio from the website “Como Espiar Celulares“, a site dedicated to illustrate how easy is to spy on a cell phone, and I mean registering all phone calls and text messages (and even its GPS location) from a cell using nothing but a hidden app and the Internet. Marco Antonio after reading my complaints in one of the forums dedicated to Android cell phones and applications, told me to check the site “GelaSkins“.
GelaSkins sells thin but artful vinyl decals called skins (these are not cases) that offer protection against scratches from everyday wear and tear. The adhesive is made by 3M (so I knew it was good) and it will hold without leaving any residues in case you want to remove the cell phone or laptop skin later.
Look at their awesome art collection that you can use for your cell phone, laptop, iPad, etc. You can upload your own art or pictures and have GelaSkins customized the look for your particular gadget (cell phone, laptop, iPad, etc). In addition, if you are a graphic artist you can even sell your own creations and make some money on the side every time your art is sold. Truly amazing (just look at the pictures), I am telling you; people are going to stop you on the street to ask about your laptop skins.
